I've been growing it for 3 years and usually I just wear it loose with my black cap over it.
The reason why I'm addressing this to girls here is because in general, girls spend WAY more time, effort and thought into appearance so in a way, they have the authority here!
All girls know that your hair style has to match your face shape and also has to be consistent with who you are. eg: you shouldnt have a bright red massive mohawk if you are the complete opposite to a punk.
So my hair style needs to match who I am:
I skate, I bmx, I play guitar and am passionate about music; old school blues to old school rock (led zepplin, the Who, ACDC etc). So in that essence, long hair suits me.
The way I dress compliments this identity and I can see by the way others treat me that they perceive this persona as well.
Long hair is a ******.
I dont want to cut it short because I feel the instant I do that I feel a loss of identity.
So i look online for mens hair styles and anything that maintains a long-look, will make me look either ';scene';, emo, or a trend following sheep.
I need to maintain my individuality %26amp; independance.

Well my brother used to have hair which was similar to what yours sounds like and he's around the same age as you
And his solution was to just shave it all off, which I've got to admit worked for him, but might be a bit extreme for you
The hair you suggested looks good on the guy, but you've got to consider the amount of product you'd need to stop a style like that looking limp. It'd probably be quite a lot of work
I'd suggest maybe a side parting with the hair around shoulder length with some layers so it doesn't get too heavy and end up limp and lifeless.

Men hairstyle?
I'm trying to figure out where to get the best hairstyle tips...I'm a dude, with medium length hair; if i straighten my hair my fringe can pretty much cover my eyes. Of course, my hair isnt usually straight, every strand seems to curve into a curl of its own.
Please try and help me figure out what to do with my hair...should I cut it, how should I style it?
And another question. Being a hazel brown haired guy, would I look stupid if I were to dye my hair blonde and get highlights two shades darker?? I'm fed up with the trad blonde highlightsMen hairstyle?
Don't get highlights. Generally, girls don't like them and i personally think they look stupid.

I am playing the part of Zaneeta Shinn in my school's production of Meredith Wilson's ';The Music Man';. My director informed me that I will be responsible for my own hair-do, and possibly makeup. I need suggestions for the best way to fix my hair. I have medium-long straight red hair, which will hold a curl for only a short amount of time and with much coaxing from the hairspray and curling iron. Makeup-wise, I am fair-skinned with freckles. To set your hair you might try wearing scrunchies in your hair at night to get it to get it to curl up. There are also these great styling things called ';spoolies'; if you can find them. And as far as a heat styling tool, you can use hot sticks (those can be found at your local beauty store). Though it sounds like putting your hair in ponytails and then doubling the ponytail over and wrapping the scrunchie over again will be best to get you some longer-lasting curl. Also consider leaving your hair dirty for a day and see if that, with some hairspray, will help keep your hair curled.
On makeup: When you are under stage lights, you will always need to wear foundation. Use loose translucent powder (no sparkles) to set your foundation. Find a foundation and powder appropriate for your skin tone/color and your specific skin type (if you're oily, use an oil-free foundation and powder, etc...). You'll need eyeliner (think natural but heavier for stage - don't over do it), black mascara (do a good job on the upper lashes, especially to the outer corners of the eye and do a little on the outer corners of the lower lashes). Blush should be heavier than 'natural' but again, don't over-do it. Lipstick should enhance your natural lip color and should not be sparkly or overly shiny. Your dress rehearsal will be a great place to find out if your makeup can be seen.

Hey, I have regular, student like hair style that has no specific hairstyle to it. But this summer, I am planning for a change. I am not skinny so I was hesitating to do this but I'm going to lose weight so my face would look good with the hairstyle. So, what do you think about this hairstyle? Looking for either: really short in the front and a mullet in the back? Its really hard to explain :( Uhh i remember a long time ago G-dragon from BIG BANG use to have it.

I currently go for a short regular hair cut. But, I want to present a serious and professional image. I should not be distractful at all, but something which adds value (if adding a value is possible at all). Well, I'm tired of my same old hairstyle and want to change it. I'm a mulatto, so i have very curly hair, not wiry hair, just very curly hair. My friends have suggested growing it out or pick it out to make an afro (don't really want to), or just a buzz cut. Not much to do with curly hair when you're a man, in my opinion, but still, any suggestions?Men hairstyles?

take like a bit of time to experiment
i'd get some hair gel
and then comb your hair in the middle forward, like in the picture
then get some gel on your fingers, just a bit and sorta stroke your hair, get little bits at a time and pull them forward, if you catch my drift :)

Ok first of all im a guy and i had long hair, but recently my hairstylist fooked up my hair so i had to cut it down...just got a rockish haircut... Fade 1 side so you can see alittle bit of skin on the sides... and long hair on the back (think mullet) and a little fauxhawk going in the middle... it looks really good on oval shapes... but i noticed wow it looks bad on me as i have a diamond shaped face and my temple is the widest... it looks bad...Best Men Hairstyle for Diamond Shaped Face???

Being a teenager, I'm conscious about my hairstyle. The problem is, I have a wide forehead and thin hair. Every time I make my hair sideways, I look like a nerd with a medium haircut, like a big head with a low volume hair. It looks like an alien.

I can't find anything to do with my hair!
It looks fine after I get out of the shower and brush it, but after about 15 minutes it gets messy.
And if I try to straighten it... it just gets EXTREMELY frizzy.
Sooo..... are there any suggestions of what I could do with my hair????

You have nice hair, but I know it's hard to tame curly/wavy hair so my suggestion is that you grow it longer and use a curl defining spray, when it is still wet, it will make your hair curly with no frizz. And after you let it dry naturally just spray a small amount of hair spray on your hair just to keep it in place.Try Pantene curl defining spray, its only around 3 or 4 dollars, and since your a guy I'm sure you don't enjoy spending hours on your hair, this should only take around 10 mins to do.

Curly men hairstyles?
I'm growing my hair to around 3-4 inches, maybe longer. I used to put it spikey but I don't want to do that any longer cause putting gel every morning is annoying. I was looking at pics of medium length hair and what I saw was Zac Efron and Nick Jonas. I have curly hair kinda like Nick, but I want my hair to get up to Zac Efrons length. Ethnic hair is beautiful and as a stylist I love to work on their hair I have a regular client that has silky smooth long ethnic hair and I am jealous of his hair. I like very short.
Just enough length so the curls can show, but short enough that it makes a man look taller.
i like braids... but i also like a clean haircut that has waves....

Does anybody know how to do any cool short men hairstyles?
Just recently I cut my hair short thinking it would be easy to just find a hairstyle I like and do it. Unfortunately I was horribly wrong. While I found I could do some styles, I never found one that I was happy with... if anybody can give me a how to on how to do a hairstyle and post a link to the hairstyle, I would greatly appreciate it. Grow it out. Keep cutting the back short, let the fron grow over one eye. Dye it black if it isn't already. Straighten it if it isn't already. Spike up the back, just the back. EMO! Maybe some eye liner or other makeup to complete the look?Does anybody know how to do any cool short men hairstyles?
well you can always go shorter?... or you could just put some gel or mousse in it lake it sorta curly if you just dry it and shuffle it through your fingers while in the process.. you can also spike it with gel or waxing mold such as beyondthezone brands or use molding wax to pop the front of it up sorta like an elvis lookk hope i helped=]]

I currently go for a short regular hair cut. But, I want to present a serious and professional image. I already have a faux hawk and its half blonde half black, now I want something that sports what a faux hawk sports. Clean, handsome yet still a little rock inside it. Well, I'm tired of my same old hairstyle and want to change it. I'm a mulatto, so i have very curly hair, not wiry hair, just very curly hair. My friends have suggested growing it out or pick it out to make an afro (don't really want to), or just a buzz cut. Not much to do with curly hair when you're a man, in my opinion, but still, any suggestions?Men hairstyles?
