Girls: Help! Mans hairstyle crisis!?

I'm 23, male and my hair is currently all the same length, long - reaching to the middle of my back when loose.

I've been growing it for 3 years and usually I just wear it loose with my black cap over it.

The reason why I'm addressing this to girls here is because in general, girls spend WAY more time, effort and thought into appearance so in a way, they have the authority here!

All girls know that your hair style has to match your face shape and also has to be consistent with who you are. eg: you shouldnt have a bright red massive mohawk if you are the complete opposite to a punk.

So my hair style needs to match who I am:

I skate, I bmx, I play guitar and am passionate about music; old school blues to old school rock (led zepplin, the Who, ACDC etc). So in that essence, long hair suits me.

The way I dress compliments this identity and I can see by the way others treat me that they perceive this persona as well.

Long hair is a ******.

I dont want to cut it short because I feel the instant I do that I feel a loss of identity.

So i look online for mens hair styles and anything that maintains a long-look, will make me look either ';scene';, emo, or a trend following sheep.

I need to maintain my individuality %26amp; independance.

I have a slight goatee, side burns, my skin is fair, my face is narrow and my jaw line is half-way between square and to a point. (oval face shape, tapered at the chin).

This is the ONLY hair style I found that I felt could work for me.

What do you think?

Can you suggest something else?

Well my brother used to have hair which was similar to what yours sounds like and he's around the same age as you

And his solution was to just shave it all off, which I've got to admit worked for him, but might be a bit extreme for you

The hair you suggested looks good on the guy, but you've got to consider the amount of product you'd need to stop a style like that looking limp. It'd probably be quite a lot of work

I'd suggest maybe a side parting with the hair around shoulder length with some layers so it doesn't get too heavy and end up limp and lifeless.

And incidentally I'd move away from the goatee while you're at it. Maybe keep the sideburns and go more stubbly?Girls: Help! Mans hairstyle crisis!?
I like this hair style. It looks good for your hair length :) Answer mine? http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>
I like the long hair in the picture! That's sexy.

I personally think long hair on guys is sexy. Always have.

Men hairstyle?

I'm trying to figure out where to get the best hairstyle tips...I'm a dude, with medium length hair; if i straighten my hair my fringe can pretty much cover my eyes. Of course, my hair isnt usually straight, every strand seems to curve into a curl of its own.

Please try and help me figure out what to do with my hair...should I cut it, how should I style it?

And another question. Being a hazel brown haired guy, would I look stupid if I were to dye my hair blonde and get highlights two shades darker?? I'm fed up with the trad blonde highlightsMen hairstyle?
Don't get highlights. Generally, girls don't like them and i personally think they look stupid.

Just get some strong gel and experiment in front of the mirror =DMen hairstyle?
maybe some highlights

leave it curly and put it in a pony tail

That's a decent cut, just don't style it like that. Guys (and girls, for that matter) look best when their hair looks ';natural.'; Get it cut like that, and whenever you shower just comb it afterwards and let it air dry. It'll be fine.Girls: Help! Mans hairstyle crisis!?
You should do dreadlocks. Hold the dreadlocks loose or in a ponytail while playing the guitar. While you are skating and bmxing (idk if that is a real word) you can easily put it in a bun.

hope i helped

I invested years of my life caring for one man to lose everything i had in life..

and, the second has given me back a life..

    Music Man Hairstyle Suggestions?

I am playing the part of Zaneeta Shinn in my school's production of Meredith Wilson's ';The Music Man';. My director informed me that I will be responsible for my own hair-do, and possibly makeup. I need suggestions for the best way to fix my hair. I have medium-long straight red hair, which will hold a curl for only a short amount of time and with much coaxing from the hairspray and curling iron. Makeup-wise, I am fair-skinned with freckles. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!Music Man Hairstyle Suggestions?
That's the daughter, right? i would do pig tails with curls if you can. As for makeup, freckles are perfect! maybe a little eyeliner and a little heavier on the mascara. i wouldn't use foundation, but try some blush, it's perfect for the ';EEEEE GODS!'; : )Music Man Hairstyle Suggestions?
To set your hair you might try wearing scrunchies in your hair at night to get it to get it to curl up. There are also these great styling things called ';spoolies'; if you can find them. And as far as a heat styling tool, you can use hot sticks (those can be found at your local beauty store). Though it sounds like putting your hair in ponytails and then doubling the ponytail over and wrapping the scrunchie over again will be best to get you some longer-lasting curl. Also consider leaving your hair dirty for a day and see if that, with some hairspray, will help keep your hair curled.

On makeup: When you are under stage lights, you will always need to wear foundation. Use loose translucent powder (no sparkles) to set your foundation. Find a foundation and powder appropriate for your skin tone/color and your specific skin type (if you're oily, use an oil-free foundation and powder, etc...). You'll need eyeliner (think natural but heavier for stage - don't over do it), black mascara (do a good job on the upper lashes, especially to the outer corners of the eye and do a little on the outer corners of the lower lashes). Blush should be heavier than 'natural' but again, don't over-do it. Lipstick should enhance your natural lip color and should not be sparkly or overly shiny. Your dress rehearsal will be a great place to find out if your makeup can be seen.

    Have a fabulous show!
